For the hot side of the intercooler where the internal hose material is designed to handle temperatures that do not exceed 410ºF (210ºC) continuous, 480ºF (250ºC) intermittent and the external material is designed for temperatures that do not exceed 350ºF (175ºC) continuous or 375ºF (190ºC) intermittent.

Often, silicone is over-specified because it is designed to handle much higher temperatures than are required in charge air cooling system applications, at a higher cost to match. Now you can choose from our four different turbocharger molded rubber hoses, each rated to the specific temperature ranges for both the hot and cold side of the turbocharger charge air cooling system. No matter which temperature range you choose, TurboBoss hoses are easier to install and seal better than silicone, giving you better performance overall, at a lower cost.
